Volunteer for PRIME

The PRIME central office in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, is responsible for providing the programme teams with administrative support and for the operation of the charity as a whole. At the present time due to increasing workload we are looking for a volunteer Bookkeeper with Sage experience to join a small friendly team of administrative and operational personnel, some paid and some volunteers.

The office is open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday, except for bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year. The post has no fixed hours and depends more on the individual's availability.

PRIME is a Christian service charity and as such we do not require staff or volunteers to be Christian, however they must be willing to reflect the values of PRIME as laid out in the Foundation Principles.

We do pay reasonable travel expenses when agreed in advance and any expenses incurred in the course of the work will be repaid in full.
PRIME is not able to accept volunteers under the age of 18.
For operational reasons these opportunities are based in the PRIME office in St Leonards.

Information about Visas

If you are from the European Union, you are free to volunteer in the UK. For those from outside the EU, you will need to check that your visa allows you to volunteer. We advise that you contact the UK Borders and Immigration Agency to find out. PRIME is not able to sponsor volunteer visas.
