Volunteer Testimonial

I first volunteered for a summer internship with PRIME Partnerships in International Medical Education between my first and second year of my undergraduate degree (Majoring in Third World Development), in order to gain experience within a UK charity working internationally. The internship was invaluable, it gave me the opportunity to learn more about the workings of an International medical charity and liaise with its key stakeholders, to develop office and systems administration skills.  This experience undoubtedly enabled me to gain graduate internships after finishing university.

I was given the opportunity to return to work with PRIME once again this summer as an assistant administrator and fundraiser. Working as part of the small core team, I really felt my professional skills were valued and that I was entrusted with much responsibility, which allowed me to stretch myself, to fulfil my potential. PRIME is an inspiring place to work, with a visionary and exceptionally gifted core team. I felt welcomed and appreciated as a member of the PRIME team.

I found working for PRIME so fulfilling, being given the opportunity even to make a small contribution to the amazing work of PRIME; that improves healthcare worldwide for the benefit of thousands of healthcare workers and patients. I could not recommend working with PRIME enough for professional, personal and spiritual development.
