Central Asia: Primary and palliative care development, PRIME conferences

India: Primary care development, human resource management, distance learning projects, whole person medicine, support for doctors working in rural and isolated areas. PRIME tutors have been involved in establishing and offering regular support to family medicine training programmes at hospitals in North India, and in major training programmes for healtcare staff in a number of centres in Vellore, New Delhi, Bangalore, Tezpur and other rural locations in a number of states over the last eight years.

Nepal: Primary care development, medical school and student training, faculty development, palliative care, mental health and nurse training. PRIME has sent a number of teams to Nepal in the past seven years who have run programmes in many centres, contributing to family doctor training, faculty development, palliative care, mental health care development and training of rural pastors in basic health support.
